Welcome to Phyllis Court Club Rowing Club’s web site.   

This site has been established to explain what the section does within Phyllis Court Club, and how it operates.  Due to our Health & Safety policy, membership is closed to those who are unable to swim.

The Club is based in the grounds of Phyllis Court Club in Henley on Thames.  It is primarily a recreational rowing club and its members are mainly individuals who have come to the sport later in life.  As a consequence, the membership mainly consists of novice veterans.  

It is inconceivable that we will ever reach Olympic standards, although  we do have the occasional member who once competed at Henley Royal Regatta, and Internationally.  We can also boast of a former World Champion, albeit the sport was Pooh Sticks.

Due to our links with Phyllis Court Club, participation is limited to members of  Phyllis Court Club only.
